Teacher of Religious Education | Outstanding Enfield School (ECT Support)

We are working with a vibrant "Outstanding" academy in Enfield to appoint a scholarly RE ECT for an immediate start. The school is seeking a teacher who can lead high-level debates on ethics, philosophy, and world religions.

About the School This modern academy is known for its high aspirations and its focus on critical thinking. The RE department is a space where students are encouraged to question and explore different worldviews in a respectful environment. For an ECT, the school offers a highly experienced mentor and a generous pension scheme.

The Role This is a full-time, permanent position teaching RE at KS3 and KS4. The school focuses on a knowledge-rich curriculum that prepares students for success at GCSE. The role is purely secondary-focused with no KS5 requirements, ensuring a manageable and rewarding start to a teaching career.

Requirements

  • QTS and a degree in Philosophy, Theology, or Religious Studies.

  • The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

  • A passion for multiculturalism and inclusive education.

Salary M1 – UPS3 (£37,870 – £56,154) per annum.
