Teacher of Science (ECT Support) - Enfield Outstanding School
We are working with an Outstanding secondary academy in Enfield who are looking for a dynamic Science ECT to join its team ASAP. The school is a hub of STEM excellence and is the perfect fit for a teacher who loves getting stuck into practical-led learning.
The Role This permanent, full-time position involves teaching General Science at KS3 and your own specialism at GCSE level. The labs are state-of-the-art, and the department is known for being incredibly supportive, making it a great place for an ECT to build their skills in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities
Planning and delivering Science lessons that bring the curriculum to life through practical experiments.
Leading or supporting STEM-based extracurricular activities and clubs.
Ensuring all lab work is conducted safely and in line with regulations.
Working as part of a large, friendly team to improve student outcomes across the board.
Requirements
QTS (or pending) and a degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
A valid enhanced DBS.
Salary M1 – UPS3 (£37,870 – £56,154) per annum.
