We are seeking a patient, caring, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Slough, starting ASAP. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils with special educational needs reach their full potential.

The school has a strong inclusive ethos and a well-established SEN provision. You will work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and other support staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small-group basis

• Assist pupils with academic tasks, communication, and social skills

• Implement strategies from EHCPs and individual support plans

• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence

• Support pupils during lessons, playtimes, and transitions

• Monitor and record pupil progress and share updates with teachers

• Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and support staff

• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment

• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
