We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Enfield, starting ASAP. You will work closely with the SENCO, leadership team, and class teachers to deliver tailored learning programmes and interventions for pupils with a wide range of needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing personalised learning programmes, monitoring pupil progress, and ensuring that teaching strategies meet the specific needs of each child. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for successful transitions and helping them develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills alongside their academic development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN

• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress using appropriate strategies and tools

• Develop and implement individualised learning plans, including EHCP targets

• Provide specialist support and guidance to classroom teachers and support staff

• Work closely with the SENCO to review interventions and outcomes regularly

• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

• Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support

• Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and progress

• Promote inclusion and a positive, supportive learning environment

• Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Have proven experience teaching pupils with a range of SEN
