Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a well-established independent school in Salisbury. The Role
Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering clear, well-structured lessons that develop strong conceptual understanding
Delivering practical chemistry lessons with a strong focus on safety and accuracy
Supporting pupils with examination preparation and academic extension
Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
Contributing positively to the wider life of the Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
A professional, organised, and collaborative approach
