The Role

• Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience

• Planning and delivering clear, well-structured lessons that develop strong conceptual understanding

• Delivering practical chemistry lessons with a strong focus on safety and accuracy

• Supporting pupils with examination preparation and academic extension

• Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback

• Contributing positively to the wider life of the Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject

• Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice

• High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress

• A professional, organised, and collaborative approach
