We are seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Slough, starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in Nursery and Reception, delivering high-quality early years education and fostering a love of learning from the very start.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing a stimulating curriculum. You will create a positive learning environment, support children’s social and emotional development, and help every child reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and play-based learning activities in Nursery and Reception

• Monitor and assess children’s progress, supporting their development across all areas

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children, including those with SEN

• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social skills

• Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating learning environment

• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and school leadership

• Contribute to school events, trips, and extra-curricular activities

• Support observations, assessments, and record-keeping in line with EYFS framework

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, resources, and teaching strategies

• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and/or relevant EYFS qualifications

• Have experience teaching Nursery and Reception pupils

• Be passionate, caring, and enthusiastic about early years education

• Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• Be able to differentiate learning for children of varying abilities

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting child wellbeing
