Our client is looking for a Design Technology Technician to support a busy DT department in a secondary school in Manchester. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026, providing technical and practical support across DT subjects.

The successful DT Technician will play a vital role in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring workshops operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for lessons
• Maintaining machinery and workshop equipment
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
• Supporting displays and student project work
• Assisting staff with practical demonstrations
Experience and Qualifications
• Experience in a DT, workshop, or technical environment preferred
• Practical skills with tools and machinery
• Strong awareness of health and safety
• Organised and dependable approach
• Legal right to work in the UK
