The Role

• Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons

• Promoting high standards of food hygiene, safety, and organisation

• Supporting pupils with coursework and practical assessments

• Encouraging creativity, independence, and confidence in practical work

• Working collaboratively within a successful Design & Technology department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related subject

• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practical assessment

• High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress

• A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
