EYFS Teacher – Slough
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Slough, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early years education and dedicated to providing a stimulating, safe, and supportive learning environment for young children.

The Role
As an EYFS Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will nurture children’s development across all areas, including literacy, numeracy, communication, social, and emotional skills, while providing personalised support to help each child reach their potential.
You will observe and monitor children’s progress, contribute to assessments, and help implement interventions to meet individual learning needs. Collaboration with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents is essential to ensure each child receives consistent and high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality EYFS lessons and activities
Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
Promote early communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children, including SEND and EAL
Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress accurately
Foster independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers
Maintain learning journals and assessment records
Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives
Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
Who We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent EYFS qualification
Have experience teaching Nursery or Reception
Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic
Demonstrate excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management
Be proactive, reflective, and adaptable
Show a strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
