A successful Ofsted Good/Outstanding school in Essex is seeking a passionate Drama Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join its well-established Performing Arts department.

Job Overview

Our client is appointing a Drama ECT to start as soon as possible / April 2026. This school is recognised for its strong pastoral support, collaborative culture, and commitment to developing confident early career teachers.
The successful Drama ECT will teach Drama across KS3 to KS5, encouraging creativity, confidence, and collaboration through practical and performance-based learning.

The school offers a rich curriculum where the arts are highly valued. ECTs benefit from experienced mentors, shared planning, and a supportive departmental structure.

Drama ECT – Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in Drama or related subject
• QTS (ECTs welcome)
• Ability to teach Drama across KS3–KS5
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Positive and reflective approach to teaching
• Passion for creative education
