The Role & Responsibilities Supporting the Head of Department, you will deliver high-quality instruction that allows students to develop a lifelong love for literature and language.
Curriculum Delivery: Teaching English across KS3 and KS4, focusing on deep text analysis, rhetoric, and critical essay writing.
Mentoring & Growth: Participating in weekly 1:1 coaching sessions with a dedicated mentor to refine your pedagogical techniques.
Resource Collaboration: Contributing to the development of shared, knowledge-rich schemes of work within a highly supportive team.
Professional Reflection: Engaging in regular peer observations to accelerate your development into an expert practitioner.
Requirements
Degree: A 2:1 or above in English Literature or a related field.
QTS: Must hold (or be working towards) Qualified Teacher Status.
Right to Work: Must have the valid right to work in the UK.
Salary & Contract Details
Salary Range: £40,317 – £62,496 (M1 – UPS3)
Hours: Full-time | Permanent Contract | ASAP Start
