We are working with a globally renowned independent senior school in Camden recruiting for a Teacher of Drama. This is a flagship faculty where the Performing Arts are celebrated as a core pillar of the school's cultural identity.
The School Located in the historic heart of Camden, this school is a centre for creative excellence. It boasts a professional-grade 300-seat theatre, multiple black-box studios, and a dedicated technical crew. The student body is highly ambitious, with many regularly progressing to the world’s most prestigious drama schools and conservatoires.
The Role You will deliver a sophisticated Drama curriculum across the senior school, balancing rigorous academic theory with high-level performance.
Academic Excellence: Delivering GCSE and A-Level Drama with a focus on practitioner-led performance and critical analysis of live theatre.
Production Leadership: Directing major annual school productions and coordinating with the technical department for set design and lighting.
Mentorship: Acting as a specialist mentor for students preparing for audition-based university entries and scholarship applications.
Extracurricular: Leading weekly advanced performance workshops and coordinating "Masterclass" sessions with visiting industry professionals.
