MDMS is seeking Midday Meal Supervisors to support primary schools across East Lindsey. This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys working with children, wants part-time, term-time work, and is looking to make a meaningful contribution to their local community.

Key Responsibilities

As a Midday Meal Supervisor, your role will include:

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime in dining halls, classrooms, and playgrounds

• Supporting younger children or those with additional needs

• Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners

• Being aware of allergies, dietary requirements, and medical conditions

• Supervising outdoor play and indoor activities during poor weather

• Promoting inclusive play and teamwork among pupils

• Helping resolve minor disputes calmly and fairly

• Providing reassurance to children who may feel anxious or upset

• Administering basic first aid where necessary (training provided)

• Reporting accidents, incidents, or safeguarding concerns promptly to school staff

• Collaborating with teachers, teaching assistants, and other lunchtime staff to ensure smooth routines

You will be a trusted, familiar adult that children rely on each day.

Training and Support

• Induction before starting in schools
