Your Role and Impact

As a Midday Meal Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise pupils during lunch, ensuring safe movement in dining areas and corridors

• Support children who need encouragement or assistance during meals

• Promote good manners and respectful behaviour

• Oversee outdoor and indoor play activities

• Manage low-level behaviour issues calmly and consistently

• Encourage inclusive play, teamwork, and cooperation

• Be observant of children’s wellbeing and offer reassurance when needed

• Administer basic first aid where necessary (training provided)

• Report accidents, incidents, or safeguarding concerns according to school policies
