We are working with a large, forward-thinking secondary academy in Manchester recruiting for an HR Manager to lead their busy personnel department. This is a permanent, full-time position for a professional seeking to influence school-wide culture and efficiency.

The Role You will be responsible for the strategic oversight of the HR function, ensuring the academy remains a competitive and compliant employer.
Start Date: ASAP (Full-time, Permanent)
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Recruitment: Developing branding and outreach strategies to attract specialist teaching staff in a competitive market.
Casework Management: Acting as the lead advisor for senior leadership on complex employee relations, including restructures and TUPE.
Compliance & Safeguarding: Overseeing the Single Central Record (SCR) and ensuring all safer recruitment audits are "Outstanding."
Workforce Planning: Assisting the Principal with budget-aligned staffing structures and succession planning.
Salary Range: £35,500 – £48,000 (Regional Scale)
