EYFS 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Uxbridge
We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated EYFS 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Uxbridge, starting as soon as possible. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young child’s first year of school by providing personalised support to help them access the Early Years curriculum and develop essential skills.

The Role
As an EYFS 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with one child requiring additional support. You will help them participate in classroom activities, develop communication, social, and academic skills, and build confidence and independence. You will also liaise with teachers, SENCo, and other staff to implement personalised learning strategies and monitor progress.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one support for a pupil in EYFS
Assist with classroom activities, learning tasks, and structured play
Support the child’s social, emotional, and communication development
Encourage independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
Observe and record pupil progress and provide feedback to staff
Implement strategies outlined in the child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP)
Work collaboratively with teachers, assistants, and other professionals
Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
