Year 3 Teacher – Slough
We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Slough, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who loves Key Stage 2 and wants to create engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and support pupils to reach their potential.

The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across all areas of the curriculum, monitor pupil progress, and differentiate learning to meet individual needs. You will create a structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment, promoting independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours.
You will work closely with teaching assistants, Key Stage 2 colleagues, and senior leaders to ensure high standards are maintained across the year group. Communicating effectively with parents and carers is an important aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
Track and monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners
Promote positive behaviour, independence, and resilience
Maintain a structured and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and school improvement initiatives
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
Be confident delivering literacy, numeracy, and foundation subjects
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be proactive, reflective, and adaptable
Show a strong commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
