Drama Teacher – Islington | "Outstanding" Secondary
We are working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" mixed secondary school in Islington recruiting for a Drama Teacher. The school is renowned for its vibrant creative arts faculty and high-energy productions.
The Role You will teach Drama at KS3 and KS4, delivering a curriculum that balances practical performance with critical theory and stagecraft.
Start Date: ASAP (Full-time, Permanent)
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering "Outstanding" Drama lessons that build student confidence
Directing major school productions and managing the technical theatre team
Preparing students for GCSE performance assessments and written portfolios
Organising trips to London’s West End to enhance the curriculum
Mentoring students for national youth theatre auditions
