Your Role as an SEN TA
Your key responsibilities include:
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN

Adapting learning materials and resources to meet individual needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils self-regulate
Supporting social, emotional, and communication development
Observing, recording, and reporting pupil progress to teachers and SENCOs
Assisting pupils with transitions between activities or classrooms
Supporting therapy or intervention sessions
Helping pupils with personal care when necessary
You will be a consistent, calm, and supportive presence, helping pupils navigate academic and social challenges while fostering independence and confidence.
