Your new role

  • Teaching: Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Curriculum: Supporting the delivery of a broad and ambitious English curriculum focused on reading, writing, and critical thinking.

  • Mentoring: Working closely with an experienced subject mentor as part of the ECT induction programme.

  • Pastoral: Supporting students’ academic progress and personal development.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • QTS (or pending QTS).

  • Passion for English literature and language.

  • Willingness to learn, reflect, and develop as a classroom practitioner.

  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
