About the Role
A well-established primary school in Enfield is urgently seeking a dedicated Intervention Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is key to helping children overcome learning barriers, achieve academic progress, and develop confidence and independence.
The successful candidate will deliver structured interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning, both 1:1 and in small groups. You will work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and external specialists to create tailored strategies for each pupil, ensuring progress is monitored and supported consistently.

Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
Patience, adaptability, and empathy for children with complex needs
Qualifications such as Level 3 Teaching Assistant, ELSA, or SEN-specific training
Desirable: experience with Talk Boost, Lego Therapy, Little Wandle, or 1st Class@Number interventions.
