Key Responsibilities
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of SEND, EAL, and high-attaining pupils
Establish a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Monitor pupil progress and implement interventions where necessary
Encourage pupils to develop self-confidence, responsibility, and teamwork skills
Maintain regular communication with parents, carers, and colleagues
Collaborate with teaching assistants and multidisciplinary teams to support learning
Contribute to school development initiatives, curriculum planning, and enrichment programs
Uphold professional standards and adhere to all safeguarding policies
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Years 3–6 in a primary school setting
Be skilled in classroom management and able to motivate and engage pupils
Demonstrate experience with SEND and EAL support
Show enthusiasm, creativity, and adaptability in teaching
Possess excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Be committed to professional growth and reflective practice
Desirable:
Experience leading a subject area or school project
Familiarity with digital teaching platforms and tools
Active involvement in extracurricular activities or enrichment programs
