Role Overview

A well-established secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a proactive and dependable Facilities Manager to join the school on a full-time, permanent basis, starting February. The role involves responsibility for the smooth and safe operation of the school estate across two sites.

Key Details

• Secondary school based in Lambeth

• Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

• Oversight of two school sites

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car required

The Role

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will manage day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring the school environment is safe, secure, and well maintained. Responsibilities include health & safety compliance, planned and reactive maintenance, contractor management, and site security across both locations.

This is a varied, practical role requiring strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to prioritise effectively across multiple sites.

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience as a Facilities Manager, Site Manager, or Caretaker

• Driving licence and car essential
