Drama Teacher (ECT) – Ludlow, Shropshire – January 2026

A creative and community-focused secondary school in Shropshire is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Drama to join its Creative Arts department from January 2026.

Drama is a valued subject within the school, supporting student confidence, communication and creativity. The department is supportive and experienced in mentoring new teachers.

The Role

You will teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, delivering practical and theory-based lessons that engage students and encourage collaboration. You will be supported in managing performance spaces and developing clear routines for practical learning.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging practical Drama lessons

  • Develop confidence in classroom and behaviour management

  • Support school productions and enrichment activities

  • Reflect on practice through regular mentoring
