English Teacher – Lichfield, Staffordshire – January 2026
A well-established and highly regarded 11–18 secondary school in the Lichfield area is seeking a passionate and thoughtful Teacher of English to join its successful department from January 2026.

The Role
You will teach English across KS3–KS5, delivering a carefully sequenced curriculum that balances classic literature with contemporary texts. At KS3, the focus is on developing secure literacy foundations, while KS4 and KS5 programmes emphasise analytical depth, independent thinking and extended writing.
You will:
Deliver engaging, discussion-led lessons supported by shared schemes of work
Support students in developing strong analytical and evaluative writing
Contribute to curriculum development and text selection
Take part in enrichment such as reading groups, theatre visits or debating
