Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Teacher (ECT) to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Reading.

• Full-time Psychology Teacher (ECT)
• January 2026 start
• Reading-based secondary school

This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher looking to begin their teaching career in a well-structured school with strong mentoring and professional development in place.

The Role

The successful candidate will teach Psychology at KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons that inspire curiosity and analytical thinking. You will be fully supported through a comprehensive ECT induction programme.

Candidate Requirements

• PGCE in Psychology (or related subject)
• QTS (or due to be awarded by January 2026)

• Strong subject knowledge and classroom presence
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed approach
• Right to work in the UK

Salary

MPS (ECT scale), dependent on experience.
