A large and inclusive secondary school in Derbyshire is seeking a dedicated Attendance & Safeguarding Officer to join its pastoral support team from January 2026.
The school places a strong emphasis on student wellbeing, attendance and safeguarding, and this role plays a crucial part in supporting pupils and families.
The Role
Working closely with senior leaders, pastoral teams and external agencies, you will help monitor attendance and support safeguarding processes.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality
Following up absences with families and agencies
Supporting safeguarding referrals and record keeping
Working with pastoral teams to support vulnerable pupils
Maintaining accurate, confidential records
