The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Religious Education Teacher for an Outstanding school in Hertfordshire. The department is immersive and high-achieving, offering a brilliant environment for an educator to foster social awareness, ethics, and philosophical inquiry among pupils.

Core Responsibilities

  • Instruct RE across GCSE and KS3, facilitating debates on theology, ethics, and global social movements.

  • Develop students' ability to construct sophisticated, evidence-based written arguments.

  • Contribute to the school's intercultural communication initiative, promoting social awareness and respect.

Requirements & Compensation

  • Essential: Must hold QTS and a relevant degree (Theology, Philosophy, or Religious Studies).

  • Salary: Paid on the Fringe or National Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS).
