DT Teacher – Independent School – Birmingham – February 2026

A prestigious Independent School in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and innovative Design & Technology Teacher to join their successful DT department from February 2026.

About the Role:
A full-time position teaching DT across KS3–KS4, contributing to project-based learning, maintaining safe workshop environments and participating in wider departmental planning and enrichment.

About the School:
The school is recognised for excellent behaviour, strong SLT support and outstanding DT workshops featuring CAD technology, 3D printers, specialist tools and experienced technicians.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a DT/Engineering-related degree
• Holds QTS/PGCE
• Can teach DT confidently at KS3–KS4
• Is practical, creative and highly organised
• Works well within a collaborative DT faculty
