Geography Teacher (ECT) – North Warwickshire – January 2026

A welcoming and well-structured secondary school in North Warwickshire is seeking a Geography ECT to join its Humanities department from January 2026.

Geography is taught through a clearly sequenced curriculum that builds knowledge and skills progressively. The department is experienced in supporting early career teachers and has a strong culture of collaboration and shared practice.

You will be supported through:

  • A reduced timetable during your induction year

  • Weekly mentoring with an experienced Geography specialist

  • Shared resources, assessments and lesson planning

  • Opportunities to observe lessons and receive developmental feedback

Your teaching will include:

  • Geography across KS3–KS4

  • Lessons linking physical and human geography to real-world issues

  • Gradual introduction to fieldwork planning and delivery

  • Use of retrieval practice and structured questioning

This is a strong ECT post for a Geography teacher seeking consistency, support and a calm teaching environment.
