Role Information

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a successful Technology Faculty. You will teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities for a suitably experienced candidate.

The role involves delivering practical and theory-based lessons focused on nutrition, food science, and preparation skills. You will support students through coursework and exam preparation, encouraging independence and confidence in practical work.

You will also contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment activities related to food, health, and nutrition.

Requirements

• QTS and a degree in Food Technology or a related subject
• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
• Strong practical kitchen and classroom management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Commitment to inclusive and engaging teaching
