Intervention Teacher - Hertfordshire

A welcoming primary school in Hertfordshire is seeking an Intervention Teacher to support targeted groups of pupils in achieving their learning goals. This role focuses on delivering structured interventions in core subjects.

The school places a strong emphasis on progress, inclusion, and evidence-based teaching strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions

  • Supporting pupils in literacy and numeracy

  • Tracking progress and reporting outcomes

  • Working alongside class teachers

  • Supporting pupil confidence and motivation

Person specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status

  • Experience delivering interventions

  • Strong subject knowledge

  • Calm and encouraging approach

  • Commitment to raising attainment
