A specialist SEN school in Hillingdon is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCo to join their team on a full-time basis with an immediate start available. This is a crucial role within a highly supportive setting, working with students who have a range of complex special educational needs.

The Role

As SENCo, you will lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school, ensuring that students receive high-quality, personalised support that enables them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing SEND provision across the school

• Overseeing identification, assessment, and support strategies for pupils with SEND

• Managing and reviewing EHCPs and ensuring statutory compliance

• Supporting staff with inclusive strategies, differentiation, and behaviour support

• Line-managing SEND support staff and contributing to staff development

• Working closely with external agencies, therapists, and local authorities

• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to safeguarding procedures
