The Opportunity

A prestigious Camden school is looking to appoint a Geography Teacher with a passion for global inquiry. This school is celebrated for its commitment to the Humanities and offers a vibrant, urban environment where geography is brought to life through local and international contexts. You will join a department that values expressive communication and critical thinking.

Core Responsibilities

  • Instruct students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a balanced curriculum of physical and human geography.

  • Organise and lead local fieldwork within Camden and the wider London area to provide students with hands-on data collection experience.

  • Contribute to the development of digital resources and GIS mapping tools within the department.

ECT Induction & Support

  • Structured induction lead assigned to guide you through your first two years of teaching.

  • Weekly mentor meetings and regular peer observation cycles within the Humanities faculty.

  • Access to a technology-forward department with specialised GIS training for staff.

Requirements & Compensation

  • Essential: Must hold QTS and a relevant degree in Geography or Environmental Science.

  • Salary: Inner London Teachers' Pay Scale.
