History Teacher – Leamington Spa, Warwickshire (Independent School) – January 2026

A highly regarded co-educational independent school in the Leamington Spa area is seeking an accomplished and enthusiastic Teacher of History to join its Humanities department from January 2026.

History is a strong and popular subject within the school, with pupils demonstrating high levels of curiosity, analytical thinking and academic ambition. Classes are small, allowing teachers to build strong relationships and explore historical topics in depth, from medieval and early modern Britain to modern global history.

The role will involve:

  • Teaching History across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level

  • Delivering academically rigorous lessons to small, motivated classes

  • Supporting pupils with extended writing, independent research and exam preparation

  • Contributing to enrichment such as academic lectures, trips and societies

The school offers:
