Spanish Teacher (ECT) – Market Harborough, Leicestershire – January 2026

A friendly and well-run secondary school in Market Harborough is looking to appoint a Spanish ECT to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.

The MFL department has a strong focus on consistency, confidence-building and clear progression, making it an excellent environment for early career teachers.

The role involves:

  • Teaching Spanish across KS3–KS4

  • Delivering lessons focused on speaking, listening and cultural understanding

  • Using shared schemes of work and centralised resources

  • Receiving regular mentoring and developmental feedback

ECT support includes:

  • Dedicated subject mentor

  • Reduced timetable and structured CPD

  • Supportive, collaborative MFL team

  • Calm classrooms and clear routines

This is an ideal role for a Spanish ECT looking to begin their career in a supportive, well-led school.
