The Opportunity & Role Profile
This Outstanding school in Watford is seeking an experienced HR Manager. You will lead the personnel function for a large staff body, ensuring the school follows best-practice recruitment, retention, and employee relations policies while maintaining a robust Single Central Record (SCR).
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Safer Recruitment: Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring all background checks meet statutory DfE requirements.
Employee Relations: Providing expert advice to the Senior Leadership Team on performance management, staff wellbeing, and employment law.
Compliance: Managing personnel files, HR aspects of payroll, and contributing to school-wide policy development.

Essential Requirements: CIPD qualification (Level 5+) and significant HR management experience, ideally within education.
