This vibrant secondary school in Lambeth has a strong reputation for music and performance. Serving students aged 11–18, the school values creativity, self-expression, and cultural enrichment alongside academic success.

The Music Department is well resourced, with rehearsal rooms, recording equipment, and performance spaces. Staff work collaboratively to provide a rich extracurricular programme including choirs, ensembles, and school productions.

Role Information

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching. You will deliver lessons in performance, composition, and music theory, and support students of varying musical backgrounds.

The role includes leading or supporting extracurricular music activities and contributing to concerts and school events.

Requirements

  • QTS

  • Degree in Music or related subject

  • Experience teaching Music at secondary level

  • Strong practical musicianship skills

  • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular provision
