The Opportunity & School Profile

This high-achieving Brent school is seeking an enthusiastic Business ECT. Our comprehensive ECT support includes a dedicated induction lead and specialized modules on professional communication, preparing you to deliver complex vocational and academic content to GCSE and A-Level students.

Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

  • Enterprise Focus: Instructing Business Studies across Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level) only.

  • Strategic Analysis: Developing students' ability to evaluate financial data, marketing strategies, and global business models at an advanced level.

  • Induction Journey: Participating in weekly mentoring sessions and the Early Career Framework (ECF) training with a focus on Sixth Form pedagogy.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Hold QTS. Relevant Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.

  • Salary: Paid on the Teachers' Pay Scale with Inner London weighting.

  • Support: 10% reduced timetable for professional development and a personal subject mentor.
