French Teacher – Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire – January 2026

A welcoming and well-organised secondary school in Ashby-de-la-Zouch is seeking a Teacher of French to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.

French is well-established across KS3 and KS4, with a curriculum focused on developing confident communicators and strong cultural awareness. The department is supportive and collaborative, with clear schemes of work and shared resources.

You will:

  • Teach French across KS3–KS4 (with KS5 opportunities for the right candidate)

  • Deliver engaging lessons with a strong emphasis on speaking and listening

  • Support assessment, feedback and intervention strategies

  • Contribute to enrichment such as language clubs or cultural events
