IT Technician - Outstanding Mixed Secondary School – Kingston upon Thames

The IT team plays a key role in supporting teaching staff, students, and leadership with reliable, secure, and innovative systems.

Role Information

The IT Technician will provide first- and second-line technical support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of all IT systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining hardware, software, and network systems

  • Troubleshooting technical issues for staff and students

  • Supporting classroom technology and learning platforms

  • Managing user accounts, devices, and security protocols

  • Assisting with system upgrades and new technology rollouts

Requirements

  • Experience in an IT support role (education sector desirable)

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills

  • Knowledge of networks, devices, and Microsoft systems

  • Excellent problem-solving and customer-service skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
