Reception Teacher | Newham

A nurturing and well-established primary school in Newham is seeking a passionate Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from January 2026. The school prioritises early development, ensuring children feel safe, supported, and excited about learning.

• Reception Teacher required from January 2026
• EYFS teaching role within a Newham primary school
• Full-time, permanent position starting January 2026

The EYFS provision is well-resourced and supported by experienced practitioners and leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the EYFS curriculum effectively

  • Supporting children’s social and emotional development

  • Creating a stimulating learning environment

  • Observing and assessing pupil progress

  • Building strong relationships with parents

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • QTS with EYFS experience

  • Strong understanding of early childhood development

  • Warm and nurturing approach

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding
