Year 6 Teacher - Birmingham

A well-regarded primary school in Birmingham is recruiting an experienced Year 6 Teacher to guide pupils through their final year of primary education from January 2026. The school has high expectations and a strong focus on preparing pupils for secondary transition.

• Year 6 Teacher required from January 2026
• Full-time UKS2 role in Birmingham
• Permanent opportunity beginning January 2026

You will be supported by a knowledgeable leadership team and work within a structured, collaborative KS2 environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the UKS2 curriculum effectively

  • Preparing pupils for SATs and transition

  • Tracking and analysing pupil progress

  • Supporting emotional wellbeing and resilience

  • Maintaining a calm and focused classroom

Candidate requirements:

  • QTS with UKS2 experience

  • Strong assessment and data skills

  • Confident classroom presence

  • Organised and proactive approach

  • Commitment to safeguarding
