SEN Teaching Assistant - Wandsworth - January 2026

A primary school in Wandsworth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs from January 2026. The school has a strong pastoral framework and provides excellent guidance and training for support staff.

• SEN Teaching Assistant required from January 2026
• Support role in a well-regarded Wandsworth school
• Full-time position starting January 2026

You will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning and develop confidence within the classroom.

Key duties include:

  • One-to-one and small-group support

  • Assisting with differentiated learning activities

  • Supporting positive behaviour strategies

  • Encouraging communication and independence

  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience supporting SEN pupils

  • A flexible and resilient approach

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures

  • Commitment to professional development
