You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils across a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH. The school offers a calm, structured environment with clear routines and a strong emphasis on positive relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing targeted in-class and small-group support
Supporting pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans
Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence
Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional support
Contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Experience supporting children with SEN
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Willingness to engage in ongoing training
