Role Information

The school is seeking a dedicated Data Officer to manage student and whole-school data systems. This role is central to the school’s assessment, tracking, and reporting processes and requires a high level of precision and analytical skill.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the school’s Management Information System (MIS), supporting assessment cycles, producing performance reports for senior leaders, and ensuring data accuracy across departments. The Data Officer will work closely with teaching staff, heads of department, and senior leadership to support pupil progress and intervention strategies.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, supporting census returns, and improving data systems and processes over time.

Requirements

• Experience working with data, ideally in an educational setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced IT skills, including Excel and MIS platforms
• Excellent attention to detail
• Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements
