A well-regarded secondary school in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join its thriving English department from January 2026.

Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an English Teacher to deliver KS3 and KS4 English within a school that places strong emphasis on literacy, curriculum coherence, and high academic standards. The successful candidate will teach a carefully sequenced curriculum that develops reading comprehension, analytical writing, and confident verbal communication.

You will work closely with an experienced and supportive English team, contributing to shared planning, moderation, and enrichment activities that promote a love of literature across the school.
