Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Advanced Prep: Preparing complex titrations or mechanics experiments for student assessments and practical exams.

  • Compliance Management: Maintaining up-to-date COSHH records and ensuring all departmental activities meet statutory safety requirements.

  • Mentorship: Providing technical guidance to new teachers and ECTs on the safe use of laboratory equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Significant experience in a secondary school lab, specifically within Physics or Chemistry.

  • Salary: £25,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
