A supportive mixed secondary school in Merton is seeking a Design & Technology ECT to join its practical subjects faculty from January.

About the School

The school has a strong reputation for hands-on learning and provides excellent mentoring for ECTs, including reduced timetables and structured development meetings.

The Role

• Teach DT across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver practical lessons across materials, product design, and CAD/CAM.
• Work closely with experienced teachers and technicians.
• Support enrichment activities and design showcases.

Requirements

• QTS (or on track to achieve by January).
• A degree in Design Technology or a related subject.
• Enthusiasm for practical, project-based learning.
