The Role
You will teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience and timetable requirements. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that develop students’ theoretical understanding and practical laboratory skills. You will deliver practical experiments safely and effectively, in line with health and safety guidance, and support students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
You will assess, track, and report on student progress, using data to inform planning and targeted support. You will work collaboratively within a supportive science department with shared schemes of work and resources, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.
